About the Role:
US based company is seeking a proactive and experienced IT Security Analyst to lead and manage endpoint patching and vulnerability remediation across a variety of client environments. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with patch deployment, endpoint hardening, and system compliance using enterprise tools such as Tanium, Intune, SCCM, or similar platforms.

You will play a key role in securing our clients' infrastructures by ensuring systems are consistently updated and compliant with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, execute, and maintain patch management processes across Windows, Mac, and/or Linux environments.

Assess and prioritize vulnerabilities, and deploy patches based on risk and impact.

Use tools like Tanium, Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or equivalents to automate patch deployment.

Monitor and report on patch compliance and remediation status.

Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to troubleshoot patching failures and endpoint anomalies.

Maintain up-to-date documentation on patching policies, procedures, and schedules.

Contribute to endpoint security hardening and compliance initiatives (e.g., CIS benchmarks, NIST, etc.).

Support audits and regulatory requirements by providing patching logs and compliance evidence.

Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in patch management strategy and automation.

Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in IT security or systems administration, with a focus on patch management.

Hands-on experience with patching tools such as Tanium, Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Automox, or similar.

Solid understanding of OS-level patching for Windows and/or Linux endpoints.

Familiarity with endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and remediation practices.

Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.

Knowledge of security frameworks such as CIS, NIST, or ISO 27001 is a plus.

Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) are a bonus but not required.
